Beginning in 2015, crippling anxiety and panic attacks drew Blair Linne into a season of deep discouragement and shame—episodes so severe they sometimes landed her in the emergency room. Like so many believers, she knew she ought to cast her burdens upon the Lord. She simply didn’t know how. What followed was the slow, unwelcome discovery that there were no quick fixes, no tidy theological answers, no spiritual platitudes that could carry her over the valley rather than through it. The only path forward was surrender: a tender, sometimes agonizing walk through weakness and into the arms of a faithful God.
