Chelsea Patterson Sobolik is the author of Longing for Motherhood: Holding On to Hope in the Midst of Childlessness in which she vulnerably shares about her own journey of childlessness and how she has come to view her story through the lens of Scripture and our hope in Christ. Chelsea lives and works in our nation's captial with her husband Michael where she is the Senior Director of Policy & Advocacy for Lifeline Children's Services, advocating for policies that ensure every child has access to a safe, permanent, and loving home. Chelsia is deeply passionate about child welfare issues, and a large part of that stems from the fact that she was adopted from Bucharest, Romania, as a baby.
