. . . In Mexico!
On Friday, March 31, over 8,000 women flooded Expo Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico, for Mujer Verdadera ’23 (a True Woman conference hosted by our Spanish ministry, Aviva Nuestros Corazones). Praise God for His grace in making a way for women across the globe to experience freedom, fullness, and fruitfulness in Christ:
- Women from thirty-five countries traveled to Guadalajara to attend in person.
- It’s estimated that 10,000 women participated via livestream.
- Among those worshiping online were women from many provinces throughout Cuba, who were thrilled to be able to participate!
Joy was a defining feature of the conference. As one woman shared:
It's been a while since I have felt this joy in my heart. I felt like a little child, delighting in God’s Word. My heart has been revived. My hope has been renewed and I feel encouraged to continue sharing this message with every woman I meet.
We rejoice in all God did through this event and pray that He will use each woman who attended to transform their homes, churches, communities, and countries for His glory.
Global Updates
Each international outreach represents countless women impacted by God’s Truth.
Other ministry updates from around the world:
- ROH German hosted their second True Woman event for German-speaking women in Switzerland—the conference was also interpreted into Russian and Ukrainian. In March 2023, they released True Woman 101.
- ROH French began working with Hope Radio in Togo, Africa, to air programs.
- ROH Indonesian released True Woman 201 in March 2023.
- ROH Portuguese offered the 30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge to over 5,000 participants online.
- ROH Farsi translated four of the five Women of the Bible studies, edited three, and prepared one for print. The “Wonder of His Name” series began airing in March 2023. Translation and recording are in progress to reach their goal of 100 programs.
