Good morning. The contrast is striking: while Jesus’ enemies scheme to take His life, He willingly walks toward the cross to lay it down. Even as He is betrayed, arrested, and denied, Jesus remains fully in control and completely surrendered to His Father, carrying out the very salvation His opponents unknowingly help bring about.
