Good morning. Jesus is led to His death, and it is difficult to comprehend the depths of His suffering. Read these chapters slowly, and as you reflect on the cross, rejoice that Jesus bore your sin and shame so that you might be reconciled to God.
Before you begin
Ask the Lord to give you a fresh sense of wonder as you read His Word. Pray for understanding and for an open, humble, obedient heart to receive what He wants to say to you.

Write a sentence or two about what you've just read. This could be a summary of the passage or an observation or highlight that stood out to you.
Reflect
When was the last time you thanked Jesus for taking the weight of your sin and shame? Let the reality of the cross lead you to gratitude for the relationship with God that His sacrifice made possible.
You can claim to know Jesus, but that’s not necessarily proof of genuine faith. True faith will always be demonstrated in a life that desires to obey God. —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth1
Respond
