The Ways of God

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: A lot of people know about God.

“Well, He created things.”

Nancy: But knowing about God isn’t the same as knowing God. Psalm 103:7 tells us that God “made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.”

The Israelites saw the acts of God; they saw Him send the plagues on the Egyptians; they saw Him part the Red Sea, but they didn’t know the ways of God.

On the other hand, Moses had a passion for God. He was willing to get away and spend time alone waiting for God to speak. Moses didn’t just know God’s acts; Moses knew God and His ways.

You and I have God’s Word in the pages of the Bible. His ways are available to us. But like Moses, we have to make a choice to get away, slow down, and allow Him to show us His ways. Have you done that today?

With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.
