Preparing for a Meeting

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: If you had an important business meeting early in the morning, how would you prepare the night before?

Man: I’d go over my notes. I'd really want to know the material.

Nancy: In the book of Exodus, we read about an important morning meeting that Moses attended. God said to Moses, “Be ready in the morning, and come up to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to me.”

What an incredible opportunity Moses had to meet with God Himself! And you know what? You have the same opportunity. The most important Person in the whole universe wants to get together with you. He met with Moses on the mountain. He'll meet with you through His Word and prayer.

I’ve found that preparing the night before helps me to keep this important appointment. So instead of staying up to watch the news or the late night talk shows, why not spend the last part of your evening listening to godly music or meditating on Scripture?
