Accomplishing His Agenda

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: Do you ever feel that even with all your time-saving devices there is still no time?

The truth is, we have the same amount of time as every human who’s ever lived: twenty-four hours every day. It’s the same number of hours Jesus had per day, and He had to accomplish the entire plan of redemption in three years. At the end of that time, Jesus prayed to His Father, “I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.”

Jesus wasn’t concerned about what everybody else expected Him to do. He knew He had just enough time to finish what God gave Him to do. You and I have enough time to do the same thing. Instead of being pushed and pulled to meet everyone else’s expectations today, ask God to help you focus on His agenda. He’ll give you all the time you need.

With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.
