A True Repenter

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: What does a repenter look like? For one thing, a repenter accepts God’s discipline.

Woman 1: I’m glad I had those problems because I spent more time praying. That showed me some of the sin in my heart.

Nancy: A repenter also follows God personally.

Woman 2: I learned not to worry about what everybody else is doing. I mean, if God convicts me about an issue, I want to obey.

Nancy: A repenter renews his mind with the truth.

Woman 3: For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation.

Woman 4: When I read in the Bible about God’s holiness, it makes me realize how sinful I really am.

Nancy: A repenter responds to God immediately.

Woman 5: When I’m convicted about something, if I wait, I’m just miserable!

Nancy: Because we all sin, we all need to be good repenters. Is there something you need to talk to God about today?
