Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: When God brings conviction, it’s time to act.

Woman: "I picked up this novel knowing that it was about an affair and that it was pretty detailed. But I really got into it, and I like it. The problem is, it is causing me to think about things that I shouldn’t be thinking about. Maybe I should stop."

Nancy: Repentance is a change in thinking that leads to a change in behavior, and change can be hard.

Woman: "I have to know how this thing ends! I mean, it’s going to drive me crazy!"

Nancy: Maybe God’s been convicting you to change some behavior. Would you ask Him for His strength? God doesn’t ask us to do anything apart from His grace. In our own strength, we’ll continue to sin, but God can deliver us by His power.

Remember what 1 Corinthians 10:13 says. “God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, so that you may be able to endure it."

With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.
