Questions Answered in This Episode

Is it wrong for Christians to have strong emotions?
Jesus wept, grieved, and was troubled in spirit, showing us that emotions are a God-given part of being human. Rather than burying our feelings, we can ask the Spirit to help us express them in godly, balanced ways as we’re conformed to the likeness of Christ.
Does Jesus understand what we’re going through?
Jesus not only formed us but also walked in our skin, knowing weariness, pain, and sorrow firsthand. Because He is mindful that we are dust, we can cry out to Him in every burden, trusting our merciful High Priest to understand and help us (Heb. 2:17–18).
How does the loneliness of Jesus comfort us?
Jesus was betrayed, misunderstood, abandoned by His friends, and forsaken on the cross as He bore our sin. Because He endured that loneliness, we are never alone in ours, and through His death we’ve been welcomed permanently into the family of God.
