About the Speakers

Bob Bakke

Dr. Bob Bakke is the teaching pastor of Hillside Church, Bloomington, MN. For ten years, Bob produced The Nationally Broadcast Concert of Prayer on the evening of the National Day of Prayer. In 2012, he helped launch OneCry, a movement of Christians mobilizing and uniting for the purpose of seeing revival come to the American Church. He is currently researching and writing for a major film on America’s Second Great Awakening.

Tony Evans

Keith & Kristyn Getty

Keith and Kristyn Getty occupy a unique space in the world of music today as preeminent modern hymn writers. In re-inventing the traditional hymn form, they have created a catalogue of songs teaching Christian doctrine and crossing the genres of traditional, classical, folk and contemporary composition which are sung the world over. In 2016 and 2017 Keith and Kristyn will be launching a global release of “Facing a Task Unfinished” – the song, album, and tour, with an inaugural church music conference to be held in Nashville, September 2017. Keith and Kristyn live between Northern Ireland and Nashville with their daughters, Eliza Joy, Charlotte, and Grace.

Marlae Gritter is the Executive Vice President of Moms In Touch International. She has had many opportunities around the world to share her passion and vision for the power of prayer. Marlae and her husband Dave have three children, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren.

Mary Kassian

Mary Kassian is an award-winning author, internationally renowned speaker, and a distinguished professor at Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. She has published several books, Bible studies, and videos. At home in Alberta, Canada, Mary watches lots of sports! Her sons play ice hockey and her husband, Brent, is chaplain for the local professional football team. The Kassians enjoy biking, hiking, snorkeling, music, board games, mountains, campfires, and their family’s black lab, General Beau.

Stephen Kendrick

Stephen and his brothers operate Kendrick Bros. Productions. Their films include: Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, Courageous, and War Room. In addition to co-writing and producing feature films, he works with Provident Films and LifeWay to develop Bible study resources for each movie, including The Love Dare which became a New York Times bestseller and has been translated into more than thirty languages.

Blair Linne

Spoken word artist Blair Linne hails from the Washington,D.C. area where she lives with her husband, Pastor Shai Linne, and their children.

Trillia Newbell

Trillia Newbell is the author of Fear and Faith: Finding the Peace Your Heart Craves (2015) and United: Captured by God's Vision for Diversity. She has spoken at numerous churches, seminaries, and conferences, including the True Woman Conference, The Gospel Coalition Women's Conference, and Southeastern Theological Seminary. She is the consultant on Women's Initiatives for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission for the Southern Baptist Convention. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern, and they live with their two children near Nashville, TN.

Jani Ortlund

Jani Ortlund, Executive Vice President of Renewal Ministries, loves spending her energies connecting women with the Word of God. Serving Jesus Christ through writing, speaking and discipling are her chief passions in life. Jani and Ray, Pastor of Immanuel Church, have four married children and twelve grandchildren, and minister in Nashville, Tennessee.

Broadcasting from the nation’s capital for over fifteen years, Janet has become one of the most respected voices in Christian talk radio. She has received much recognition for her work, including the 2008 National Religious Broadcasters’ On-Air Personality of the Year award. Janet and her husband, Craig, have co-authored several books.

Joni Eareckson Tada

Joni Eareckson Tada is the Founder and CEO of Joni and Friends, an organization that promotes Christian ministry in the disability community. Joni hosts the short-feature radio program “Joni and Friends,” has written over fifty books, has received the Gold Medallion Lifetime Achievement, and has been inducted into the National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
