The Choice

Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us. —Ephesians 3:20

Obstacles in our Christian life are unavoidable. We must go through many tribulations to enter the kingdom of God. There’s no getting around it: we must face hard things. When we do, we can respond in two ways: we can focus on the obstacles, or we can focus on God.

Perhaps you’ve been moaning or groaning about the giants before you. Instead of focusing on the lavish feast God has prepared, you’re conscious of all the reasons why it’s so hard.

To focus on the obstacles will debilitate you, and you will begin to live in fear rather than faith. Would you lift your eyes up to God and say, “Lord, I trust Your Word. I want to be a person of faith. You are bigger than the giants. You are greater than the hurdles, and Your supernatural power can take me into the Promised Land and give me peace and rest.”

Make it Personal

Pray that you would take God at His Word and that your life would demonstrate He is greater than any hurdle or obstacle.
