Holy in Him

June 16, 2022 Aylín Merck

Now to him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of his glory, without blemish and with great joy. —Jude 24

Christ’s love for His Bride is a self-sacrificing, purifying, and ransoming love. The Lamb loved His Bride and sacrificed Himself for her. The purpose of His sacrifice was to purify her from her sins. He rescued her from judgment and wrath. His holy Bride is His gift to Himself. His glory will be her beauty (Rev. 21:11).

If you are in Christ, you are part of a group of servants who cling to the testimony of Jesus as true. Can you visualize this? The love of Christ has made you holy, and He will continue to sanctify you until the day He presents you blameless with the Church. I don’t know about you, but it gives me great hope. I see all the ways I don’t live out my holiness, but the truth is that I am holy in Christ. One day, along with all the saints, our holy splendor will bring great joy to Jesus (Jude 24).
