Do It Today

June 12, 2022 Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth

Encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception. —Hebrews 3:13

How often do you and I need to be challenged by the Body of Christ to be careful about not falling into unbelief? Every day. How long does it take for any of us to potentially develop an evil heart of unbelief? It can happen in less than twenty-four hours. You are going along believing God and suddenly a circumstance comes up, fear kicks in, and your heart gets hardened.

So, the Scripture says we need each other. We need to be exhorting and encouraging one another every day as long as it’s called today, so “that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception” (Heb. 3:13).

Unbelief is sin. It is rebellion against God, and we need to keep pulling each other back to a place of faith. We need to keep reminding each other of the promises of God, the heart of God, the plan of God, and the presence of God. We need each other in this battle.
