A Class on Life

January 25, 2024 Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth

Make your ways known to me, Lord; teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me. —Psalm 25:4–5

Wouldn’t it be great if there were a class you could take that would teach you everything you needed to know and provide answers for all your problems? Maybe you’ve got a boss who’s impossible to please, a food addiction you can’t kick, or bills that always seem larger than the paycheck.

There is a “course” that addresses every issue we’ll ever face. The Teacher loves to meet one- on-one with His students so He can tailor the course to our needs. He is willing to hold class every day that we’re willing to meet. We al- ready have the Textbook, which was written by the Teacher Himself. Parts of it can be difficult to grasp, but the Teacher is always available to help us understand.

Establishing a daily devotional habit enrolls us in this course. During this time, we can sit at the feet of Jesus and ask Him to instruct us, to teach us what He is like, and how to live in a way that pleases Him.

What problems are you trying to find the answers for today? Make time to go to “class” and sit at the Instructor’s feet.
