Good morning. The gospel of Mark begins with a sense of immediacy. It opens with Jesus’ baptism by John, where the Spirit descends and God declares Him His beloved Son. Almost immediately, Jesus is led into the desert before beginning His public ministry.
Before you begin
Ask the Lord to give you a fresh sense of wonder as you read His Word. Pray for understanding and for an open, humble, obedient heart to receive what He wants to say to you.
