Good morning. Mark continues to draw us into Jesus’ ministry with his fast-moving narrative. We see Jesus’ authority in action as He teaches, calms storms, and brings healing and life. Each encounter testifies to His life-transforming power.

Reflect
How do these passages encourage you to trust Jesus’ authority in the challenges you face today?
Jesus knows that the core issue of my life and yours is not symptoms of woundedness—as real as they are. The real issue is our sinfulness, our separation from God. When that’s addressed, there will be healing in other areas of our lives. —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth1
