Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: When she was a girl, Charmaine Porter dreamed about her wedding. By her early thirties, God had not yet chosen to give her a husband. But she still felt those desires to be married.

Charmaine: I started to realize, first of all, that He gave me those things. They’re not a bad thing, they’re not an unholy thing, but why I was desiring those things—He started to heal them. And I started to find value and satisfaction in Him, but also in the things that He’s allowing me to do.

Nancy: Sometimes singles feel they would be fulfilled if they only had a spouse. Listen, God may not change your situation, but He can enable you to find deep joy in Him. In Christ, you have the dearest Friend anyone could have, one who walks with you today and will be yours for all of eternity.
