Three P's

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: Let me offer three P’s that can help us understand our connection to sin.

  • First, our position before God is secure. If you’ve put your faith in Christ, He’s forgiven you of your sin and you’ve been declared righteous.
  • Second is our prospect before God. Christ is coming back for us, and we’ll live forever with Him without sin.
  • Then there’s our practice. That’s where we have trouble. We don’t always live up to our holy position and holy prospect. That’s why we constantly need the Word of God.

Jesus prayed for His disciples and said, “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”

We cooperate with God in the process of sanctification every time we let Him wash us with His Word. So how’s your practice? Let the truth of God’s Word make you truly holy.

With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.
