C.S. Lewis: The essential vice, the utmost evil is pride. Unchastity, greed, drunkenness are mere flea bites in comparison. Pride leads to every other vice. It is the complete anti-God state of mind.
Nancy: Pride is the number one roadblock to revival. It blinds us to our true spiritual condition. Psalm 10:4 says, “In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him.”
