Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: With the recent leak from the Supreme Court on the Mississippi abortion law case, we’re hearing the impassioned voices of those who oppose any restriction on abortion. And their anger will grow even more intense in the days ahead.
The Prophet Isaiah had a strong warning for any nation that ignores God and does not value life. He said “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil . . . who deprive the innocent of his right!” (Isa. 5:20, 23).
God calls us to stand firm for what is good, even when that means being hated or reviled by others. In 1 Corinthians we’re told to be on the alert, to stand firm in our faith, to be courageous and to be strong. We’re also told to make sure that all that we do—and all that we say—is done (and said) in love.
