Summer Book Club: 3 Ways to Think Right

This week in the Summer Book Club, we tackle two big words that start with the letter “D.” What are they? Did you guess “dipped cone?” Nope. Although that’s certainly one of my summer favorites. How about daisies, a summer flower that is popping up everywhere where I live? Nope. That’s not it either. I guess you’ll have to grab your copy of True Woman 201 (if you haven’t already) and check out the blog below to find out.

So, whatdya say? Are you up for the challenge of training yourself toward godliness this week? Here’s a recap on how.

1. Read the Bible.

I’d like to challenge you to read the entire book of Titus. It’s just three short chapters. You can do it!

2. Read right thinkers

Grab the biography of someone who knew God’s Word and lived it. Here are a few I recommended in the blog with links. • Dietrich Bonheoffer Amy CarmichaelCorrie Ten Boom

3. Make a 1 Timothy 4:7 Pact.

Repeat after me. I will have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. I will train myself toward godliness. If you’re willing to train toward godliness.
