Today’s reading highlights the seriousness of God’s judgment as He exposes the violence, idolatry, and unfaithfulness of His people through sharp prophecies and vivid imagery. Even in the severity of these warnings, God’s heart is to reveal the depth of their sin so they might understand why judgment is coming and recognize their need to return to Him.
