Read through the Bible, Day 230

Today’s reading highlights prophecies against Ammon, Edom, Damascus, Kedar, Hazor, Elam, and Babylon—nations that trusted in their own strength and wealth but would ultimately be humbled by the Lord’s judgment. Yet even in these warnings, some of the nations are promised eventual restoration by His hand.

Before you begin

Ask the Lord to give you a fresh sense of wonder as you read His Word. Pray for understanding and for an open, humble, obedient heart to receive what He wants to say to you.

Read

Jeremiah 49–50
