As Ecclesiastes begins, Solomon reflects on the fleeting nature of human pursuits and the emptiness of pleasure, possessions, and work. Yet woven through his reflections are reminders of the mystery of time, the gift of companionship, and the importance of receiving and enjoying the simple blessings God provides.
