Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: In the book of Proverbs, we read that "every wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down."

Ladies, let’s look at some actions that build or tear down. Is your behavior with men discreet and chaste?

Woman: For this is the will of God . . . that you should abstain from sexual immorality . . . that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother (1 Thess. 4:3, 6).

Nancy: Or are you aggressive and flirtatious?

Do you look for ways to help the poor and needy?

Woman: She extends her hands to the poor, yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy (Prov. 31:20).

Nancy: Or are you wrapped up in your own needs?

Is your home a place of ministry and encouragement to other people?

Woman: Be hospitable to one another without grumbling (1 Pet. 4:9).

Nancy: Your actions today may seem insignificant. But actually, we’re all in the process of either building people up or tearing them down. Let’s be builders today.
