True Protection

Woman 1: When my daughter was born, I said, 'Lord, this child belongs to you.'

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: It’s easy to say that we surrender ourselves or our children to the Lord, but following through with it can be more difficult.

Woman 1: Now my daughter’s getting ready to work as a missionary halfway around the world. I find myself worrying all the time about her safety.”

Woman 2: Bye, I love you guys. (jet plane taking off)

Nancy: There’s no safer place than in the center of God’s will. Psalm 91 tells us about God’s amazing protection.

It says, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart” (v. 4).

God doesn’t promise that our children will never face danger, but He does promise to provide a refuge for those who love Him and to keep them from fear.
