Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: You may have heard it said, "God can draw a straight line with a crooked stick." I think that applies to our elected government officials, too.

Leslie Basham: This is Seeking Him with Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth

Nancy: Listen, if God can use wicked rulers like the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar to do His will, don’t you think He can handle our modern-day leaders? Of course, He can.

Proverbs 21 has a comforting word for us. “The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord; like the rivers of water, He turns it wherever He wishes.”

It’s hard to change the course of a river . . . but not for God.

Don’t forget that, no matter what the outcome of this upcoming election, God is still on His throne. We can rest in that—knowing that His power and His will can never ever be thwarted.

With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.
