More Traits of a Godly Woman

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: What are some of the traits of a godly woman? The Bible has a lot to say about that.

Woman: She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue (Prov. 31:26).

Nancy: Do you bless your family and friends by speaking words that are kind and wise?

Are you able to point people to specific Scriptures that apply to their lives and needs?

Woman: Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone (Prov. 25:15).

Nancy: Are you willing to wait quietly for God to change the heart of someone in authority rather than manipulating or nagging?

Do you influence others with gentle words or try to control them with harsh words?

Woman: Better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman (Prov. 21:19).

Nancy: Does your spirit make it easy for people to be around you?

Lord, I pray that You’ll make us the kind of wise, gracious women that You created us to be—women who reflect the beauty of Christ in every way. Amen.
