In the Lord's Hand

Woman: My husband and I make decisions on the budget together. However, I have ways of getting everything I want.

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: It might seem risky for a wife to choose to follow the leadership of her husband, but it’s not really a risk for a wife who trusts God. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.”

You know, God can direct the decisions of kings, presidents . . . and your husband! When a wife gives up control and supports her husband’s decisions, she’s really saying, “Lord, I believe You’re in control and can handle this situation.”

Woman: I realized I need to back off and let God be the one to really help my husband make these decisions.
