Woman: My friend is talking about leaving her husband, again. She asked my advice, but I just don’t know what to say. Who am I to tell her what to do?
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: It can be hard to know what to say to someone who’s hurting or confused or struggling about what to do. But the truth is, they don’t really need our advice. They need to know what God says in His Word.
The Word of God is alive and powerful; it’s medicine for troubled hearts and minds. Psalm 119:105 describes it as "a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths.” Whatever our need, whatever our circumstances, the Word of God is sufficient.
