A Blip on the Screen

Leslie Basham:  This is Seeking Him, with Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth.

Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: I remember talking once with a dear friend about a painful issue in her marriage. The problem had lasted a long time, and there was no end in sight. In the course of the conversation, I was moved as this precious woman said, “If this goes on for our whole lives, that’s okay. I know that time is short," she said, "and eternity is long. One day this will all be just a blip on the screen.”

No matter how long your suffering may continue, God’s Word assures us that it will not last forever. Remember the words of Romans 8:18: “Our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Let’s live for eternity, today.
