Emily Jensen: Sometimes moms and dads aren't in the best mood when there's a lot of correction and a lot of training and discipline that need to take place. Over time, I think, it can shift the mood of the couple and the mood of the family towards one that is more businesslike.

I know that for my husband and me, in these years one thing we are trying to do more and more is have fun together.
