Nancy Returns to the Studio

Praying friend, what a gift you are to Nancy and to this ministry. One of the questions we hear most often these days is, “How is Nancy doing?”

As she continues to walk through this new season of widowhood, Nancy is leaning deeply on the Lord. God’s Word has been a steady source of comfort and strength. Though grief is heavy and the mental fog is real, her trust remains firmly anchored in Him.

Recently, Nancy had the opportunity to share about walking with God through sorrow on Moody Radio’s Chris Fabry Live program. Her vulnerable reflections honored Robert and glorified God. If you haven’t had a chance to listen, we'd highly recommend it.

Since Robert’s Homegoing, the ROH leadership team has encouraged Nancy to take the time she needs before resuming a full schedule. Last week, she returned to the studio to begin recording programs on the second half of Isaiah, which opens with these wonderful words: “‘Comfort, comfort my people,’ says your God” (Isa. 40:1).

Will you pray for the Lord’s peace and presence to continue to strengthen Nancy as she prepares for the following opportunities?

  • Monday, April 20 – Nancy and the ROH Board will meet via Zoom. Pray for the Lord to provide wisdom, clear direction, and unity.
  • Thursday, April 23 – As Nancy studies and records Wonder of the Word, pray that the Lord will strengthen her heart and guide her to offer hope to others.
  • Tuesday, April 28 – Pray for Nancy as she travels to Schaumburg, Illinois, for the ECPA (Evangelical Christian Publishers Association) Leadership Summit, where Robert will be honored posthumously with the Kenneth N. Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award.
