Honoring a Lifetime of Faithfulness to God's Word

“It’s not our words that bring lasting transformation to people and cultures—it is Christ and His Word.” That was Nancy’s message when she had the privilege of sharing as keynote speaker at the closing gala of the 2026 National Religious Broadcasters Convention on February 20. There, she was also honored with the National Religious Broadcasters Chairman’s Award, recognizing her impact and significant contributions to promoting biblical truth in Christian media today. 

What a profound grace it was for Nancy to pour into so many men and women serving in Christian media in the difficult season following the loss of her beloved husband, Robert. In the midst of deep personal grief, she reminded them that hope is found not in our own strength but in Jesus Christ and His Word. 

As Nancy prepares to resume Wonder of the Word recordings later this spring, pray for her mental, physical, and emotional restoration. As waves of grief come, may the Lord continue to give her daily glimpses of grace through His presence, His promises, and His people. On behalf of Nancy, thank you for your care and faithful prayers on her behalf. As she often reminds us, “Heaven rules. Jesus is near.”
