Read through the Bible, Day 51

In today's reading, Moses reminds Israel how God gave them victory over fierce enemies, which strengthened their faith and struck fear in their foes—preparing them to trust Him as they entered the promised land.

Before you begin

Ask the Lord to give you a fresh sense of wonder as you read His Word. Pray for understanding and for an open, humble, obedient heart to receive what He wants to say to you.

Read

Deuteronomy 3–4

Review

Write a sentence or two about what you've just read. This could be a summary of the passage or an observation or highlight that stood out to you.

Reflect

How has God given you victory in something that once seemed impossible? How can remembering that victory help strengthen your faith for the future?

"O Lord, I can see that You have been with me and led me. Thanks to Your provision, I have lacked nothing that I needed. You know when I’ve been in my current circumstances long enough. And when it’s time for me to move into a new phase of my journey, You will let me know where You want me to go next. Amen." —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth1

Respond

Write a short prayer, based on today’s reading. This could include praise, gratitude, personal confession, agreement with the truth, or a request for yourself or someone else.
