The book of Leviticus begins with specific instructions for three offerings: a burnt offering to make atonement, a grain offering for giving back to God a portion of what He’d given to them, and a peace offering to experience ongoing fellowship with the Lord.
Before you begin
Ask the Lord to give you a fresh sense of wonder as you read His Word. Pray for understanding and for an open, humble, obedient heart to receive what He wants to say to you.

Review
Write a sentence or two about what you've just read. This could be a summary of the passage or an observation or highlight that stood out to you.
Reflect
How does considering Jesus’ perfect sacrifice as the spotless Lamb inspire you to surrender your life more fully to God?
"Often offered in conjunction with sin or guilt offerings, burnt offerings were intended to express the worshiper’s total dedication and consecration to the Lord. They pictured complete surrender to the will of God." —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth1
Respond
Write a short prayer, based on today’s reading. This could include praise, gratitude, personal confession, agreement with the truth, or a request for yourself or someone else.
