Read through the Bible, Day 26

The obedience of God’s covenant people prepared the way for a display of His glory. Once the construction of the tabernacle was completed, His presence filled it––and He came to dwell with them.

Before you begin

Ask the Lord to give you a fresh sense of wonder as you read His Word. Pray for understanding and for an open, humble, obedient heart to receive what He wants to say to you.

Read

Exodus 38–40

Review

Write a sentence or two about what you've just read. This could be a summary of the passage or an observation or highlight that stood out to you.

Reflect

What area of faithful obedience in your life might serve as an invitation for God to show His glory?

"God’s glory filled the tabernacle after months of obedience on the part of Moses and others. God chose to gloriously manifest Himself where His people had been faithful and obedient." —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth1

Respond

Write a short prayer, based on today’s reading. This could include praise, gratitude, personal confession, agreement with the truth, or a request for yourself or someone else.
