The opening chapters of Amos reveal God’s righteous judgment toward the nations—and toward His own people—for their sin, injustice, and oppression. Yet even in these warnings, we hear His yearning for His people to repent. He calls them to turn from their wrongdoing and return to Him with hearts that seek what is good and true.
