In Ezekiel 34–36, the Lord condemns Israel’s leaders for failing to shepherd His people and promises to personally care for them as the true Shepherd. He also speaks of future restoration, cleansing, and renewal—a time when He will bring His scattered people back to their land, give them a new heart, and establish His Spirit within them.

Ezekiel 36:26 speaks of the Lord removing His people’s heart of stone and giving them a heart of flesh. Where have you seen God do this in your life or in the lives of those around you? Take a moment to write it down, and then thank Him for His gracious work in softening hearts.
