Today we'll read the Lord’s instructions for the tabernacle, which started with descriptions of the outside and then moved inside and to the Most Holy Place, where the presence of God dwelt. Through these plans, God made provision for His people to find mercy for their sins and reconciliation to Him.
Before you begin
Ask the Lord to give you a fresh sense of wonder as you read His Word. Pray for understanding and for an open, humble, obedient heart to receive what He wants to say to you.

Review
Write a sentence or two about what you've just read. This could be a summary of the passage or an observation or highlight that stood out to you.
Reflect
The tabernacle artisans were filled with the Spirit as they worked. What gifts has God given you, and how might the Holy Spirit empower you to use them for His glory—even in seemingly “ordinary” work?
"In front of the entrance to the Holy of Holies—the sacred seat of God’s manifest presence—stood the altar of incense, where every morning and every evening the priest would offer up the sweet scents, representing the prayers and thanksgiving of God’s people. Those were types and symbols of a relationship that we can enjoy with God anytime, anyplace." —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth1
Respond
Write a short prayer, based on today’s reading. This could include praise, gratitude, personal confession, agreement with the truth, or a request for yourself or someone else.
