In today’s passage, Job recounts sins he has avoided and calls on God to judge him fairly. Later, Elihu, a younger man, speaks sharply, challenging Job for justifying himself and rebuking the friends for their inadequate counsel. In this instance, Elihu is correct, emphasizing that God communicates through various means, disciplines His people to bring salvation, and always acts with perfect justice.
