Read through the Bible, Day 120

Today’s passage traces the restoration of Israel’s family lines after the exile, showing that even when generations of His people were unfaithful, God was still faithful toward them. Each person played a part in His plan—a reminder that there are no insignificant assignments in the Body of Christ.

Before you begin

Ask the Lord to give you a fresh sense of wonder as you read His Word. Pray for understanding and for an open, humble, obedient heart to receive what He wants to say to you.

How might your attitude or actions change if you saw every task you do for God’s kingdom—no matter how “small”—as meaningful and significant?
