Ministry Representative, Mid-Level Giving

Remote or Niles, Michigan | Full-time

A Ministry Representative serves as a relational extension of Revive Our Hearts, connecting personally with those who faithfully support the ministry. This role is responsible for managing a designated caseload of donors and cultivating relationships with mid-level supporters.

The Ministry Representative—Mid-Level carries a caseload that includes individuals who give single gifts of $500–$2,999 and Revive Partners who contribute $100–$249 per month. Through thoughtful communication and relationship-building, this role helps strengthen donor engagement and deepen their connection to the mission of Revive Our Hearts.

Position Details

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). The position may be remote or based in our Niles, Michigan office. Because of the relational and hospitality aspects of this role, this position may be well-suited for a married couple serving together in ministry.

Characteristics & Skills

• A spiritually mature believer with a passion for the mission of Revive Our Hearts.

• A genuine heart to serve and care for those who support the ministry.

• Comfortable spending several hours per day speaking with donors by phone.

• Spiritually sensitive and willing to pray with donors regarding their spiritual needs during conversations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with personal computers and standard software programs.

• A positive, willing, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond to donor interactions and inquiries from individuals assigned through the ROH Caseload Manager or the Director of Development.

• Proactively communicate with donors on the assigned caseload, engaging with them at least two times per year through phone calls, handwritten notes, emails, or other correspondence.

• Contact lapsed donors to encourage renewal and continued partnership.

• Share ministry updates, financial needs, and information that helps donors stay connected to the work of Revive Our Hearts.

• Cultivate relationships with a select group of one-time donors in order to understand their motivations, interests, and potential for deeper engagement.

• Share ministry resources and occasionally assist with or host events that help educate donors and connect them more deeply with Revive Our Hearts.

• Make additional outbound calls as assigned.

• Participate in staff chapels, prayer times, and other meetings as required (online or in person).

• Attend various Revive Our Hearts events as requested, with specific duties defined by the Director of Development.
