“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” —John 16:13
God proves with each generation through Scripture that He will keep His covenant promises, even when we are foolish and disobedient. However, His covenant keeping does not absolve us of our responsibility to obedience or to the exercise of wisdom according to His Word. . . . The people of God must walk together knowing that in every age, lasting peace is only built on wisdom’s foundation.
In our current age of moral relativism, it’s imperative that we ground ourselves in truth. . . . Biblical wisdom, when pursued in the community of the local church and applied to all areas of life, has the potential to produce good and reliable Christians and to produce holiness in them. In times of persecution and rising anti-Christian hostility, the choice to follow Christ’s ways may lead to destruction of our physical bodies, but such choices based on obedience to His Word that place us in the fellowship of His sufferings will never lead to the destruction of our souls.

Where is God calling you to follow His ways rather than the world? Ask Him for wisdom on how to glorify Him in that place.
