Seek the LORD, all you humble of the earth, who carry out what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility. —Zephaniah 2:3
God wants to reveal His presence and glory to His people. He wants to fill our hearts, homes, churches, and ministries with His love and Spirit. He wants to pour out His grace on the dry, thirsty ground of our lives. In short, He wants to revive our hearts. And it begins with brokenness and humility.
Brokenness is God’s prescription for nearly every condition that ails human hearts and lives, because pride is almost always at the root of our difficult issues—fear, sinful bondages, fragmented relationships, guilt, shame, addictions, hypocrisy. All those walls can crumble through genuine brokenness and humility.
Do you need a fresh infusion of God’s grace? Do you long to experience abundant life? Do you want to be set free from selfish, sinful patterns? Do you want to find fullness of joy?
Then I challenge you to a radically new way of thinking and living, where the way up is down, where death brings life. Brokenness and humility are truly the pathway to your wholeness.
