Our Questions

February 7, 2026 Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. —Proverbs 3:5

It’s not that God is bothered by our questions or is unwilling to answer. He knows why we ask. But He also knows what we need to know, and He’s given us His Word and His Spirit so we’re not left clueless.

God possesses knowledge about us and about how He chooses to govern us and our world which, for our own good, is “secret and sealed until the time of the end” (Dan. 12:9)— secret except to tell us we’re being “purified, cleansed, and refined” (12:10) through each day’s living out of all these unknowns. The waiting is how He is preparing us.

In other words, when He says, “I know something you don’t know,” He doesn’t say it with a smug shake of His head but with a fatherly wink of “just you wait” excitement. And while we wait, we can be confident He knows how long our circumstance will last and how it’s going to turn out.

Truth is, it’s going to turn out even better than we imagine.

Make it Personal

Pray that your heart would be “purified, cleansed, and refined” as you wait for God to answer your questions.
