Jesus Continues

September 20, 2025 Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth

The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters . . . has been thrown down. —Revelation 12:10

Our enemy is intelligent enough to know that he has no chance of ultimate victory. Even so, he hasn’t quit. In fact, until the day he is “thrown down,” he will hurl every accusation at God’s children that he can.

But do not fear; Christ hasn’t quit either. Unlike the heroes of movies and novels, Jesus didn’t disappear after rescuing us. He has remained our saving Savior. At this very hour He stands at the Father’s right hand interceding for us. Knowing that we are still in a fight, He has not turned away from us. Not for a second.

What could be more precious and personal to you and me than thinking of Jesus in heaven praying for us, pleading for us, interceding for us? So, be strong and courageous, for Jesus is fighting for us still.
