Cry Out to Him

February 10, 2026 Kimberly Wagner

LORD, God of my salvation, I cry out before you day and night. —Psalm 88:1

If you’re a young mom today, frazzled, weary, and frustrated, cry out to Jesus. Ask Him to ride to your rescue and save you from anger, frustration, and impatience. Ask Him to fill you with compassion for those He’s entrusted to your care.

If you’re an older mom weeping for children who’ve turned their backs on the Savior, cry out to your mighty Warrior. Ask Him to deliver them from destruction and surround them with evidence of His grace and reality.

If you’re a woman who has lost hope for the future, cry out to the One who created you. Ask Him to open your eyes to the ways you can fill the earth with His glory and make you fruitful in using those gifts for His great name’s sake.

Whatever your need, whatever your burden, cry out to Him. Look to Him for deliverance from your situation—whether that be a change in circumstances or a change in your heart. And then lay your life before Him, that He may use it for His glory.

What burdens do you need to cry out to the Lord about? What would it look like to lay your life before Him for His glory?
